Quality is the most important feature of our work. A poor translation, a simple misinterpretation or punctuation mistake in a translation can cause the reader or translation recipient to be confused, make a bad decision or even put a third party in danger. Therefore, quality is an unquestionable feature and value in our translation, proofreading and editing works.
In order to achieve this level of quality, Alto Significado makes sure its translators, proofreaders, terminologists, and editors have the knowledge, experience and continued education necessary to perform their jobs with certainty and excellence.
In addition, our translation process has a thorough proofreading stage of the final translation, which is made visually and audibly, method that decreases to minimum typographical errors, omissions, terminology inaccuracies, and inconsistencies. If necessary, we also consult experts in the different specialty fields we manage, and they help us confirm specialized terminology in our translations.
On the other hand, we consider that the saying “jack of all trades, master of none” is very much applicable to the translation process that we intend to offer. The field of translation is as wide as the universe itself and one cannot expect to know and translate everything right. Therefore, we focus and specialize in only two languages (Spanish & English), and some specialty fields that are interlinked.
Our approach “Jack of all trades, master of none” do not let us get distracted with other subjects or languages, allowing us to entirely devote ourselves to get training, continued education and gain experience in specific fields, so as to gain deep, detailed and wide knowledge and domain thereof.
It is our purpose that our existing clients and prospects acknowledge our quality level and what it means to you. It is not our goal to compete with the lowest prices or the shortest delivery times, but with regards to quality and client satisfaction due to it.
According to the foregoing, Alto Significado has decided to have very specific and strict policies regarding delivery times and forms. In this extent, we cannot accept projects which subject or language we do not know or have a 100% command of; neither can we accept projects which delivery times cannot be properly met because the quality can be compromised, and this goes against our corporate values.
